[edit] Rewritng the article so that it is encyclopedic
I have tried to remove duplications and have attempted to give the article a more coherent chronology. Unfortunately, the conversational tone is too extensive to change, without having a greater knowledge of this individual, if the creation of errors is to be avoided. Obviously the account of his KKK involvement needs more development if a sense of Ellis' change of mind is to be appropriately conveyed. Philip Cross 18:30, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
