[edit] Fair use for CIE 201 Class
The image linked here is claimed to be used under fair use as:
- it is a historically significant photo of a key locomotive of the Irish Transport System
- it is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality)
- the photo is only being used for informational purposes
- Its inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because it shows the subject of this article which could not otherwise be decribed texually
- it is not possible to get a full photograph of the engine as it exists currently due to it being under protective covering at Inchicore Engineering Works and which also requires site access permit
- the only other models existing are (i) badly vandalised (ii) under restoration and taken apart
[edit] Licensing
This photo is used as it is impossible to get a full photograph of the engine currently as (i)it under weathering cover at Inchicore (which also requires a site access permit). (ii)the only other extant engines are (a) badly vandalised (b) under major restoration
