[edit] Fair use for CIE 201 Class

The image linked here is claimed to be used under fair use as:

  1. it is a historically significant photo of a key locomotive of the Irish Transport System
  2. it is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality)
  3. the photo is only being used for informational purposes
  4. Its inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because it shows the subject of this article which could not otherwise be decribed texually
  5. it is not possible to get a full photograph of the engine as it exists currently due to it being under protective covering at Inchicore Engineering Works and which also requires site access permit
  6. the only other models existing are (i) badly vandalised (ii) under restoration and taken apart

[edit] Licensing

This photo is used as it is impossible to get a full photograph of the engine currently as (i)it under weathering cover at Inchicore (which also requires a site access permit). (ii)the only other extant engines are (a) badly vandalised (b) under major restoration
