[edit] Addenda

The article does not mention (and it's a good thing) some stuff, to wit:

  • His outrageous statements to Gente magazine in his glory days (e.g. "I would go to bed with Graciela Borges")
  • The insulting, un-PC nature of some of the comments he made when attacking Bilardo (e.g. "he is hysterical like a pregnant woman")

The article now does link here... the full Spanish language text, and some figuritas, of the IMHO classic book "El DT del proceso" (The coach of the military regime), a well-documented (albeit biased) critique of Menotti's ideas football, choice of players, personal ethics, and links to the dictatorship... elpincha 21:07, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
