Céline Dion en Concert (meaning Céline Dion in Concert) is Céline Dion's ninth French album and first live recording released in Quebec, Canada (December 2, 1985).

[edit] Album information

It was recorded during the show on May 31, 1985 at the Place des Arts in Montreal. Dion performed thirty six shows in Quebec cities during her C'Est Pour Toi Tour. She sang three English songs: Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes' "Up Where We Belong," Judy Garland's "Over the Rainbow" and Irene Cara's "What a Feeling." There were no singles issued to promote this album which proved to ba a moderate success. It also included "Carmen "L'Amour Est Enfant de Bohême"" and hommages to Félix Leclerc and Michel Legrand.

During her Falling into You Tour in 1996-1997, Dion recalls how she used to sing "What a Feeling" when she was a little girl. She didn't know English that well at the moment and had to learn some of the lyrics phonetically. We can find that speech on her Live in Memphis home video.

In 2003 Dion recorded "Quand On S'Aime" as a duet with René Simard which appeared on his album Hier...Encore.
