I am 30 years old, British, living in Bogotá, Colombia. I am teaching Physics at the Colegio Anglo Colombiano. I was born in Cleethorpes, near Grimsby. Educated at various schools in Humberside and Derbyshire I entered the University of Birmingham in 1992, emerging four years later with a degree in Astrophysics and a PGCE. I then taught for three years at Ramsey Abbey School in Ramsey, Cambs. I entered international education with three years teaching in Budapest, where I first encountered the IB system. I then moved to my next position in Bogotá. In 2004 I met a beautiful girl called Lina, who I proposed to during July of that year in Edinburgh. We were married July 2nd, 2005 in Chia. In July 2006 I will be leaving Colombia for a while and travelling, with Lina, to Suzhou, near Shanghai, in China, to work at the Suzhou Singapore International School.
