Byron Cage is an African-American gospel recording artist. His work includes the albums An Invitation to Worship, Dwell Among Us, Transparent In Your Presence, and a self-titled LP performed live at New Birth Cathedral in Atlanta, Georgia.

The minister of music at Ebenezer AME (African Methodist) Church in Fort Washington, MD (Church Membership of 12,000 members one of the largest AME Churches) Under the pastoral leadership of Pastors Rev. Dr Grainger & Jo Ann Browning, since 1998. Byron Cage uses his soulful tenor vocals and choir director skills to confirm his faith. Together with his nine-vocalist group Purpose, which he formed in the mid-'90s, Cage has recorded 4 memorable live albums of spirituals, Transparent in Your Presence, Dwell Among Us,The Prince of Praise & most recently "An Invitation To Worship". Inspired by the singing of the late, Rev. Donald Vails and Thomas Winfield, Cage began singing gospel music as a teenager. He also served as music director for the New Birth Church in Atlanta for a decade. He has also worked with the GMWA National Mass Choir, Ebenezer A.M.E. Mass Choir CD, Full Gospel Baptist Mass Choir, and Bishop Dennis Leonard's Heritage Christian Center Mass Choir.

Byron Cage recently received a 2006 Grammy Nomination for his latest album, An Invitation to Worship. In 2004 Cage received 5 stellar awards including Male vocalist of the year, and CD of the year and song of the year for "The Presence of Lord" back in 2004
