Byfield has lots of societies and clubs, such as karate, over 60's club, mens breakfast club and the parish council meeting.

Byfield also has no activities or entertainment for the youth of the village. The teenagers that skateboard in the village have asked for a skate ramp for more than 15 years, but have had no response from the poor council who only listen to the older generations.
