Bye, Bye Birdie / Belch of Destiny was the first episode of the third season of the Animated Television series Rocko's Modern Life.

Filburt puts Rocko in charge of taking care of his bird, Turdie, while he goes away for a check-up. The bird pesters Rocko and Heffer and also manages to cause numerous accidents throughout the town, especially bothering a fat man's monkey. A fed-up Rocko is forced to be chained to the bird. Heffer accidentally sits on Turdie killing it. Filburt returns home early and asks where the bird is. Rocko tells him it died but does not say how. Filburt assures Rocko that it wasn't his fault since Turdie belonged to a rare species of mynah with a lifespan of three weeks. Heff then asks Rocko if he told Filburt he sat on it. The three bury Turdie at sky, literally putting the bird in a cloud. The fat man with the monkey returns with a box of winged monkeys. Filburt is joyous.

Heffers belches loudly in a Weasel Scouts talent show and his troop wins a trip to Astro Camp. Heffer's dad scolds him for acting like a freak to be a local celebrity thereby breaking Heff's spirit and putting him in a depression. His friends protest and Heff's dad apologizes and reveals a toilet-humor mind of his own.
