Bydales School is a secondary school in Marske-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, England; and it is in the Redcar and Cleveland Local Education Authority. The school's current headteacher is Tony Hobbs. In 2004, the school had an enrollment of 785 pupils, and also was awarded Specialist Technology College status. The school was recently rebuilt from buildings which mainly dated back to 1966, and a new PFI school was opened to pupils on November 2nd 2006.
The school's uniform comprises a Royal Blue school jacket(blazer), white shirt, trousers and tie (with house colours on).[citation needed]
One of the most notable pupils to attend Bydales School was the famous record holder Andy Green who achieved the land speed record in his rocket car, thrust ssc in the year of 1997.[citation needed]
