Byadgi is a town in Haveri district in the state of Karnataka, India.The town is famous for red chilli.The surrounding areas of Byadgi produce chilli ( red in color & long ) which is dried in sunlight and sent to different markets. This spicy chilli is one of the common ingredients used in Udupi cuisine.Today the use of this chillies is seen in abroad also.
