[edit] IBF World Championships, BWF World Championships or World Badminton Championships?

With the recent change from IBF to BWF, perhaps we should have to change the name of this article and every edition of this champs article too. I think actually it isn't the correct name. For example, this year world championships will be also 2007 IBF World Championships, 2007 BWF World Championshps or 2007 World Badminton Championships? My vote is for World Badminton Championships, in order to join the former world champs (IBF) with the new one's (BWF). What do you think about it?? MontanNito 13:41, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

I prefer for Official Name, perhaps we can make it clear about former name in article, however BWF have not yet announce the official name for 2007 tournament, so wait until the official release. Ok, I think it's a good idea. The only "problem" I see is that some championship editions will be name IBF World Championships (until 2006), and others (since 2007) BWF World Championships, if this is the official name. Anyway, the official name should be the best option. We we'll talk more about it when we know it. MontanNito 14:40, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

The name of past championships should not be changed unless the BWF decide to re-name them apriori.--Nitsansh 22:06, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
