Buzz! The Big Quiz is the second in the Buzz! series of PlayStation 2 games.

Initial promotional material had it named Buzz! The Uber Quiz, however SCEE announced the change upon the game's launch. The format is essentially that of the original: Buzz! The Music Quiz. However, The Big Quiz covers an extensive range of general knowledge questions, including (but not limited to) geography, history, sport, television, movies, as well as music.

The Big Quiz was released in the UK and New Zealand on March 16, 2006

The rounds are...

  • Point Builder - Select an answer from four options.
  • Snap - Select an answer from options that appear on the screen in a random order. You lose points in this round for a wrong answer.
  • Fastest Finger - You score more points for being the fasted person to answer.
  • Ask A Friend - New to Buzz! The Big Quiz, this round gets each player to nominate a friend to answer the question for them. If they choose wisely both will receive points but if they moniate someone not-in-the-know then both will suffer.
  • Pass the bomb - Answer a question correctly to pass the bomb. The person holding the bomb when it goes off loses points.
  • Point Stealer (Not available in two player mode)
  • Hitman - New to Buzz! The Big Quiz, this round sees the players fighting each other for a chance to shoot a life an opponent of their choice. The fastest to the correct answer gets the gun but will they hit the desired for or will the accidentally commit hari-kari? The last one alive wins the most points
  • Look Before You Leap - A picture and the question are slowly revealed. Buzz in if you think you know it but be careful - lots of points are deducted for a wrong answer.
