Buttle Lake

Buttle Lake is a 28 km² large lake on Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia in Canada. It is 221 m above sea level, between Campbell River and Gold River in the Strathcona Provincial Park. The lake is up to 120 m deep.
It was named after commander John Buttle, who had explored the area in 1860.
