Buttigliera d'Asti is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 20 km southeast of Turin and about 25 km northwest of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,164 and an area of 18.8 km².[1]

The municipality of Buttigliera d'Asti contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Crivelle and Serra.

Buttigliera d'Asti borders the following municipalities: Capriglio, Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Montafia, Moriondo Torinese, Riva presso Chieri, and Villanova d'Asti.
