Butt Lane

Butt Lane is a suburb of Kidsgrove in the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, North Staffordshire.
It is also the birth place of Reginald Mitchell.
Butt Lane is just outside of Talke, the small suberb contains several shops and facilities including: a dentist, a news agents, two Indian restaurants, a Cantonese take away and a chip shop. Locals include: Shaun Crank a idiotic person who knows nothing, Shelly Barnes and Jack Whillhouse, who are all respectable residents of the area.
The small borough mainly consists of small terraced houses, that can all get a good dominant view of the local landmarks-The Wedgewood monument and Mow Cop castle. The local ajacent industrial estate is home to several large computer programming and manufacturing businesses.
The area also has its own sports team, namely Butt Lane White Stars, the team is based in Talke Pits where it plays its home games on the local playing field. The mainstream team has got a youth offspring team.
