BUT / Aishou is Kumi Koda's 35th single and was released on March 14, 2007. The single is a time limited purchase and can be purchased in any method from March 2007 to May 2007. BUT is described to be a "destructive", "four on the floor" dance track and a "time machine dance style" song by the Japanese, and "Aishou (愛証?)", meaning "love proof", is a love ballad. BUT is also the theme song for the Japanese edition of the movie, Step Up.
There was also an analog version of BUT, set for release the week after this single's.
