[edit] Floating TOC

Thanks... I think that helps a lot... I hated how there was a blank section where the TOC is located... on the military brat article Balloonman 16:13, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

PS what did you think of the article? Any recommendations? Any places where you thought the wording could be improved? My goal is to get this to FA status... so I am open for even the most trivial of nitpicks.Balloonman 18:35, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
I'm a big fan of TOCright when a long infobox or image interferes with TOC and page flow. BTW, I'm also a military brat (sold Navy Times on Pearl Harbor docks when I was ten), and my first instinct was to make changes, not give feedback. I was excited to see the article for the first time this am, and after some more careful reading I'd be glad to provide feedback. BusterD 18:58, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Excellent... feel free to make changes... I'm of the opinion that the more people who edit/comment on the article the better. Either way it's fine by me.Balloonman 19:10, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your remedies

I have responded here. Although I appreciate your attempt at a suitable resolution which everyone can agree on, it doesn't seem to address the fact that the Arbcom has not come up with clear cases for desysopping. And I especially object to punishing MONGO for unprotecting a page he was not editing. User:Zoe|(talk) 16:44, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

If the ArbCom would care to provide evidence of the behavior they are condemning, and if they get rid of the punishment of protecting a page he wasn't editing (which can backlash against ALL of us), then we have grounds to talk. Until then, I can't see any middle ground. User:Zoe|(talk) 23:49, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A source in NY

Hi BusterD

Do have time to help the African military history project a bit? Mozambican War of Independence could be one of our next FAs, but it needs some more sourcing. One of the sources is in the NY public library, see here for more information. Thank you Wandalstouring 12:02, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Question

As liaison between Science task force and historiography, I have a question. I have worked extensively on the Venona project series, which is used twice in the Science task force Categorization scheme. I would like to join one or the other group, and need some assistance in the form of guidance and planning. Would you be kind enough to offer some advice as I have not participated in a WikiProject before and would like to contribute. Thank you. nobs 22:51, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Helping out with the Unassessed Wikipedia Biographies

Seeing that you are an active member of the WikiBiography Project, I was wondering if you would help lend a hand in helping us clear out the amount of unassessed articles tagged with {{WPBiography}}. Many of them are of stub and start class, but a few are of B or A caliber. Getting a simple assessment rating can help us start moving many of these biographies to a higher quality article. Thank you! --Ozgod 20:14, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
