"Busted" was the forth single from Joanne's 2001 debut album, Do Not Disturb.

[edit] Song Information

Joanne returned in 2001 with the release of Busted, released on January 8, 2001. It debuted and peaked at #36 on the ARIA Single Charts, her 4th highest single to date.

At this stage in her music career, Joanne decided to drop the 'B.Z.' letters from her stage name and continuted and went along with 'Joanne'. She continuted to release upcoming hits.
Busted is Joanne's "cheating song". It feels good to have a laugh about something that once hurt so much. Joanne got cheated on and it hurt, but she picked herself up, got over it and decided to dedicate one song from her debut album to that "liar liar, pants on fire".
