Bushmaster V match 20
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A version of the AR-15 rifle popular both in the U.S. and Europe, where allowed in the IPSC Rifle Division and in some Reserve Officers Associations.
In all its components it is similar to the AR15/M16 system and features a chrome-lined heavy barrel. Out of the box it is easy to fire any factory 55 FMJ's in 1" groups (25 mm) at 100 meters. Because of its 1-9" rifling twist it will stabilize .224" caliber bullets up to 75 grs. The small caliber gives modest recoil and high velocity, suited for shooting to about 300 m. But the low kinetic energy make steel-popper shooting difficult, more like shooting a .32 ACP at steel plates.
