Burton upon Stather

Burton upon Stather is a village in North Lincolnshire, England situated near the River Trent. The village lies 5 miles north of the town of Scunthorpe, and overall parish population, comprising of Burton-upon-Stather itself and the hamlets of Normanby and Thealby, is currently slightly under 3000.[1] The local church, St. Andrew's, was initially built in 1160, and had a tower added in 1230.
