Burton Kramer

Burton Kramer, O. Ont, (born 1932) is a prominent graphic designer and artist who lives and works in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Kramer began working in the early 1960s and his work was prominent at Expo 67. His work from this period shows the influence of Op Art. He is perhaps best known for creating enduring iconic images such as the expanding symbol of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation which he created in 1974. His work is highly respected and is featured in the Smithsonian Institute and the Library of Congress.
Kramer was made a member of the Order of Ontario in 2002.
