Burnley Barracks railway station is on the East Lancashire Line 800 metres (½ a mile) east of Burnley Central railway station. Of the four railway stations in Burnley (Rose Grove, Barracks, Central and Manchester Road), Burnley Barracks is the least busy.
The 1,103 passengers recorded for 2004-5 may be an underestimate, as tickets booked to/from "Burnley Stations" are credited to Manchester Road.
