Burning Shed
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Burning Shed is an independent record label established in 2001 by musicians Tim Bowness and 'Lord' Peter Chilvers, in association with duplication company manager, Pete Morgan.
Originally envisaged as an artistically focused, online extension of labels such as 4AD, Factory, ECM, DGM and Mute, Burning Shed has become recognised as an influential label and music resource in its own right, specialising in promoting Singer-Songwriter, Progressive, Ambient/Electronica and Post-Rock music.
Additionally, Burning Shed hosts the official online shops for Porcupine Tree, No-Man, OSI, Medium (Jansen, Barbieri and Karn), 21st Century Schizoid Band, Rothko, Roger Eno, Hugh Hopper and Hatfield and the North.
