Burlington College

Burlington College is a private liberal arts college located in Burlington, Vermont. Utilizing unconventional teaching methods, which Burlington College administration labels as "The Vermont Tradition", Burlington College engages their students in their activities promoting social and community involvement while providing traditional University Level education. In addition to programs at the college's main campus, it offers study abroad programs in Italy and is one of the few universities within the United States that offer a study abroad program in Cuba.

The current President of Burlington College is Dr. Jane O'Meara-Sanders, whose husband is the junior United States Senator from Vermont, Bernard "Bernie" Sanders (VT-I).

Burlington College's "Institute for Civic Engagement" is known state-wide for topical discussions, debates, and lectures on issues that impact the local, state, national, and international community as a whole. The institute is led by former Vermont State Representative and Attorney, Sandy Baird.
