Buri Ram (Thai บุรีรัมย์ - "City of Happiness") is a town in Thailand, capital of the Buri Ram province. It is located about 410 km north east of Bangkok [1] and is on the Bangkok rail line. Much of the local economy is still agricultural and the tourist industry that is a prominent feature in much of the rest of the country has yet to make a significant impact.
