Burgess Falls State Park

Burgess Falls State Park and Natural Area, located near Cookeville, is a state park in central Tennessee, USA. It is situated on the eastern edge of the Highland Rim, near the Cumberland Plateau. This geography provides sheer bluffs, narrow ridges, turbulent rivers and streams, and abundant woodlands. The Falling Water River flows through the park, and features many scenic waterfalls along its course. The park's main attraction, Burgess Falls, is between 60 and 70 ft. (20 to 25 m) in height. Recreation and picnic areas can also be found in the park, along with walking trails.
