Burgas Peninsula

Burgas Peninsula (Poluostrov Burgas \po-lu-'os-trov bur-'gas\), in Antarctica, extends 10.5 km in the east by northeast direction towards Renier Point, Livingston Island. It is bounded by Bruix Cove and Moon Bay to the north, and Bransfield Strait to the south by southeast.

The Burgas peninsula is named after the Bulgarian city of Burgas.

The peninsula is located at 62°38′00″S, 59°55′00″W.

British mapping in 1822 and 1968, Chilean mapping in 1966, Argentine mapping in 1980, and Bulgarian mapping in 2005.
