Bunny Dees

Bunny Dees is a resident of Texarkana, Texas, and made her acting debut in 1972 as Elizabeth Ford in the Charles B. Pierce film The Legend of Boggy Creek.
Bunny was 19 years old and a student at Texarkana Community College when she was asked to portray Mrs. Ford. She then went on to pursue a career in theater. She received a major in English and theater from the University of Texas in Austin, as well as two minors in dance and psychology. At her father's request, she also worked to obtain a teaching certificate.
After graduating, Bunny took a teaching position at Anderson High School in Austin, Texas. One of her students from Anderson High, Mehcad Brooks, went on to land a spot on the ABC drama Desperate Housewives. Another of her students was John Harrison, who played the role of Renée Zellweger's prom date in the 1994 film Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.
Bunny Dees moved back home to Texarkana in 1998 where she currently teaches drama at Texas High School. She still occasionally performs in plays.
