Bundamba State Secondary College

Bundamba State Secondary College (previously Bundamba State High School) is a Queensland public secondary school in the Ipswich suburb of Bundamba. The Secondary College is located within walking distance of the Ipswich Racecourse, Bundamba Railway Station, The Bremer Institute of TAFE and the Ipswich Motorway.

It was established with the start of the 1970 school year on January 27 and is currently schooling an approx. 900 Students from grades 8 through to 12.

Bundamba State Secondary College is known for it's Educational, Sporting and Recreational excellence[citation needed] and is also one of the leaders in Arts in the state of Queensland.

Bundamba State Secondary College has a reputation, and still growing, as one of the leaders in Secondary Education throughout the area of Ipswich. The award-winning Secondary College features a strong Mathematics, English, Science and Information Technology departments; all within high-tech environments.

Bundamba also has a great record of future University Students, with majority of OP Overall Position scores enabling grade 12 graduates to successfully plan ahead in Tertiary education.

The school has a reputation of being one of the most challenging sporting School, not only within Ipswich but Queensland. It's excellance in Sports such as, Rugby League and Volleyball.
