Buller District

Buller District Council in the West Coast region of New Zealand is a municipality that covers Westport, Karamea, Reefton and Inangahua Junction. The seat of the council is at Westport, where 45% of the district's population live.

The district has a population of 9,702 at the 2006 census, of whom 8% are Maori. Of these, 3900 live in Westport, 423 in Karamea, 159 in Inangahua Junction and 948 iin Reefton.
