Bulldozer (band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bulldozer was a black metal / speed metal band from Italy, active from 1985 up to 1990.

With sound, lyrical approach, lineup and even an image heavily resembling Venom and Motörhead this Italian band nevertheless managed to carve itself a little niche of cult glory, playing an interesting blend of roary, thunderous speed metal with early thrash influences.

Their debut album was produced by Algy Ward of Tank-fame (yet another bass-driven thunderous power-trio band) and the influence can clearly be heard.

Their farewell concert, held in Poland in front of circa 6,000 people, at its time did set the crowd-drawing record for Italian metal bands.
