Buhera

Buhera is a village in the province of Manicaland, Zimbabwe about 82 km south east of Chivhu. It serves as the administrative and commercial centre for the Sabi communal lands. It is headed by Chief Nyashanu, assisted in administrative duties by headman Makuvise and headman Taurai Musendeki. Headman Musendeki has a son, Emmanuel Musendeki who is expected to succeed his father. Buhera's economy depends mainly on farming, the main crops being maize, nyimo and nzungu (groundnuts). Cattle ranching is also important.
