I aint seen it is it any god?

  • no it aint any god at all. It's good in parts, though, and I believe would have been better had Sutherland not interfered with the script and the production in general. [[User:Paul Tracy|Paul Tracy/talk]]

[edit] Question

Pike, in the movie, kind of fulfills a similar role to Xander, in the series. A zander (note spelling) is a fish, also knows as a pike-perch, due to its similarity to a pike. Is this coincidance, or intentional on Joss Whedon's part? Does he fish?

I'd guess that it's almost certain that this is a coicidence. I have never heard Whedon say a word about fishing. -- Paxomen 13:14, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia: Merrick

In the trivia section, it's said that the characters of Pike and Merrick never appear in the TV show. This is untrue in the case of Merrick. He appears in "Becoming, Pt. 1", as the scene where Merrick first informs Buffy that she's the slayer is re-played (though on the Hemery High front steps, not in the gym) while Angel watches. Richard Riehle played him in the show. The more interesting trivia is that outside of Buffy herself, Merrick is the only movie character that appears in the show. An old friend of Buffy's from Hemery High, Billy "Ford" Fordham (played by Jason Behr), does appear in the episode "Lie to Me," but there is no character referenced by that name in the movie.

Buffy's parents also appeared in both the film and the television show.--FreeKresge 03:40, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Does not follow

How can this not be canon, but the later series is? That sort of, you know, makes no sense. 72.144.103.202 04:00, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
