While the "history" section of this article are interesting, I think it would be an interesting article to chronicle the subject of the Buddha and Buddhism in film and popular media. Because this is an article about a specific film that may be made, I don't think the history section is appropriate. Nightngle 16:12, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

This article now reads like a press release. I'm concerned that this may be a copyright violation. Using citations would help determining if it has been written based on coverage or copied directly from one source. Nightngle 17:32, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Namings and history

As has been noted, there are actually many films about Buddha, some of whih listed here in the history section. Moroever, two films are currently under production (the other is already at Buddha (2007 film) according to the naming conventions for films: When there are identical titles each film should be at Buddha (year film), so the film mentioned here should be moved to Buddha (2008 film). As an additional advantage, this entry here could then become a history or list of Buddha films or a dab page.--Tikiwont 14:31, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I came here to make note of that. I have verified that Buddha (2007 film) is a different film from this one. This page is actually advertising, but if the film ever ships, it will deserve a page.— Randall Bart 18:01, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
