John "Budge" Edward Patty (born February 11, 1924) was an American male tennis player. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, United States. He is one of only three American male tennis player who have achieved a French Open-Wimbledon double. Don Budge in 1938 and Tony Trabert in 1955 were the other two.

He was inducted in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1977.

He now lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, with his wife, Marcina.
