[edit] US Airways vs America West
Welcome. I suggest that you read the talk pages from all of the articles before making merger related changes. The two airlines are still not merged and they will not be before next year. So changes need to made with this in mind. Vegaswikian 00:13, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vienna Airport
Somone suggested on the WikiProject that we move VIE to Vienna Schwechat Int'l, but the response made more sense, arguing that Vienna International was the more common name and that Schwechat didn't really pass the Google test. If you still think it should be moved, please bring it up on the project page before doing so. Cheers. Dbinder 09:23, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Las Vegas Strip
I removed the anchor stores from the entry on Fashion Show Mall. This should be listed in the article on the mall itself. We have been using the table comment area to develop facts to help build the mall articles. Once the article is created, then the information is removed from the table. This also serves to keep information in one place so that when it changes, it only needs to be updated once. Vegaswikian 18:56, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] QR and EY to JFK
Hello. I see that you have added JFK to the destination lists of QR and EY. There is indeed some rumors that both airlines are adding JFK as their destination, but is it already official? Could you point out the link to a statement issued by the airlines? Many thanks. Elektrik Blue 82 06:30, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Port Salines International Airport
Just wanted to let you know that I deleted the article as the correct name is Point Salines International Airport. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 16:04, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] International destinations
User:PikDig has been inserting "international" destinations for Northwest Airlines from New York-area airports. I disagree with the inclusions. I hope you can take a look at User talk:PikDig#Northwest Airlines to see if my reasoning is correct, and to add other comments. Thanks. Tinlinkin 12:07, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
I noticed that London-Gatwick is now listed as a destination from Memphis beginning October, 2006. Can you verify your information and re-confirm that this is correct? There's been no formal announcement of this from Northwest Airlines...
[edit] Air India flying to New York from Chennai
Hi, I noticed you made this edit to Chennai International Airport. Would you know of a press-release or other reference? I couldn't find any. Ambarish 05:57, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lagos Airport
Hi, You may be able to help. I am confused as to why Runway(s) 19L/01R and 01L/19R have become 18L/36R and 36L/18R? Have the authorities changed the angle of the runways? I have determined that someone with an IP address changed it and I wonder if it should be changed back? Your thoughts on the matter would be great, Thanks, themit 11:14, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Error
I recently corrected a mistake you made with Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. You see Continental Airlines is pushing for a Newark-Shanghai flight, not for Cleveland. I've also made refrences to recent addition to the Paris flight starting in 2008.-Take care!
[edit] crabtree
hey, thanks for the heads on on crabtree. i checked a calendar, and thought the 9th was monday, thus backdated the date to the 7th (which would have been saturday), but i was lacking in my use of the "cal" command :-p anyway, please don't remove citations, especially from that article, as it already suffers from an extreme dearth of them. Frijole
[edit] Apology
My apology towards the McAllen Airport page. I now see my mistake. --Mcamargo 05:31, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: Auburn-Opelika Airport
I wasn't the one who removed the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It was an anonymous user as can be seen in this diff. I was attempting to fix the odd way this person reworded the intro but neglected to notice s/he removed the Atlanta Airport. -- AuburnPilottalk 19:51, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikilinking start dates
I was just wondering your opinion on whether or not we should be wikilinking start dates. I unlinked start dates on the FLL page and user: Dalbury keeps relinking them and I noticed that happened to you too on the MIA page.Sox23 05:02, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] PIA/IAH
"Thank you very much for your interest in the Houston Airport System, and for your comments and feedback. Neither China Airlines or Pakistan International Airlines have expressed any desire to leave the Houston market to Houston Airport System employees. What is causing the drop in passenger figures year-over-year is outlined below for each:
PIA - in April 2006, PIA changed their Houston service from 1x weekly XXX to 1x weekly XXX-combi (combination cargo & passenger aircraft). This shift has reduced the number of seats available in the Houston market from 320 to 292 per week, thus causing a reduction in overall passenger traffic year-over-year. If you will review the HAS monthly statistical reports since April 2006, you will see that Pakistan International Airlines has had a reduction in passenger traffic year-over-year, but has also had a significant increase in cargo traffic year-over-year because of this fleet change.

i asked the same question about PIA/CI and this is the response given. what are your sources?Urban909
[edit] IAD-HKG
I couldn't find anything in United's timetables. Hong Kong isn't even listed as a destination under DC (nonstop or otherwise). DB (talk) 05:48, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, me neither but thanks!. Bucs2004 11:16, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hooters Air clarification
On the RDU page, you removed Hooters stating they ceased operation. They, in fact, ceased scheduled service operation but now operate charter service as Pace Airlines dba Hooters Air. (ERJ170) Kacey 04:51, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re:Linking destinations
Hello: Having read your reasons for reverting my edits recently, I have posted a question at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Airports asking for clarification that you may wish to answer. Cheers, Heimstern Läufer 04:24, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Passenger Transportation
hi, thanks for informing me about the passenger transportation right. if this is such a case, i doubt all the stopovers of the airlines between KUL and SIN are able to transport passengers. if u dont mind, u may help to check it up. thanks. Mike86 5:23, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RE:BKK not disambiguated on SIN article and added faux-direct destination for United Airlines
Hey Bucs2004! BKK should be disambiguated on the SIN article, and according to WP:AIRPORTS international flights to the USA that is continuing on to a domestic destination is not considered a direct flight for there is an aircraft change, for example if UA operated SIN-NRT-LAX with a 747 and a different or the same 747 is used for the LAX-ATL it should be listed, but if for the LAX-ATL flight a different aircraft is used, let's say a 757 it should not be listed as a direct flight. -chris^_^ 20:09, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
