Buckenham, which is situated on the Wherry lines between Norwich and Lowestoft, is an isolated and scattered community. Only one train a day each way, excluding Sundays, stops on request at the station. The station is exposed leaving intending passengers open to icy cold winds blowing across the flat fields.
