Buck Pierce

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Buck Pierce is a Canadian Football League quarterback and is the backup quarterback to Dave Dickenson for the British Columbia Lions. He was born in 1981 and is 6'1 and 210 lbs.

Pierce had one of his best games as a starter on October 6, 2006 against the Calgary Stampeders. He threw 25 for 31 for 297 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception. He was poised and cool the entire game, throwing to all his receivers and reading the defense arrayed against him perfectly. He began the game with one incomplete pass, and then hit his next 14. The BC Lions won the game 39-6 on Buck's ability to tear apart an opposing defense and the BC receiving corps ability to make big plays out of almost nothing. He is number 16 for B.C.
