Buccal exostosis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Buccal exostosis is the formation of bone masses on the outer, facial side, of the upper jaw just above the teeth or the facial side of the lower jaw. Formation on the lower jaw occurs much less commonly than on the upper jaw. They are painless, but may contribute to periodontal disease if they become too large. Buccal exostoses have no malignant potential.
