BTN FM

BTN FM is owned by The Local Radio Company will be based in Northallerton. It was awarded the franchise to broadcast to Northallerton Bedale and Thirst in North Yorkshire in November 2005 by UK regulatary body OFCOM. It is expected to use a 40 watt FM transmitter. A frequency has not been allocated as yet but is expected to be 96.1 MHz FM. It will begin broadcasting sometime in 2007.
