[edit] Talk:Alleged human rights violations by Israel during Al-Aqsa Intifada

Hi. Could you have a look at my latest comments at the above link? The merge of the info into Al-Aqsa Intifada is still being blocked.

I have started on your suggestion about "a huge amount of work, & probably a name change is needed." I could use your help. I tried to change the name of the article. That was reverted. Any ideas on how to stop this multi-user deletion attempt by people who keep deleting the article and redirecting it? I can go to the 3R notice board but I will lose because more than one editor is deleting and redirecting it. I guess I will have to go to the main incident board:

Please also see:

There is a smaller amount of related material here:

I have a copy of the original article here:

I will continue to convert the links to reference links there. That way the relevant sourced parts of the article can be copied to the appropriate wikipedia pages. Maybe a completely new page is needed. With a title like this:

You little, pathetic bigot. Your so called warning is defamatory. EVERYTHING I WROTE is supported not only by facts, but by the very page I edited!!! You are more than just a troll and anti semite. Your pathetic political agenda and patent disregard for facts is clear for anyone who knows anything about the subject. I suggest you stop, or YOU will be blocked. EVERY racist remark you make is saved to this end.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by DavidCharlesII (talkcontribs) 14:31, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Deleting cited information

You need to review WP:BLP. When properly cited, and per WP:ATT we prefer secondary sources, there is neither need nor permission to remove properly sourced information. Continuing to do so will be considered vandalism. Thank you. -- Avi 19:40, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Once again, please do not unilaterally remove well-cited information from an article without agreement by contributing editors on talk. Remember now one owns any article here. -- Avi 19:45, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Your statement that it is "refuted" is a violation of original synthesis. Whther it be refuted or not, as wiki editors we are duty bound to restrict ourselves to bringing sources that pass WP:ATT's reliability standards to demonstrate all sides without violationg undue weight. Now I know that is difficult at times, but that is why this is wikipedia and not a 4th grade assignment. Now, if this man is notable, it is only because of the world-wide reaction touched off by his visit. Otherwise, ANY tourist to Iran should get an article. The extremity and strength of the reaction is what MAKES this man notable. Trying to bowdlerize and whitewash world reaction is both a violation of NPOV, as well as removing the very elements that allow wikipedia to have an article on him in the first place. Not to mention that removing well-cited information is vandalism unless shown otherwise.
Secondly, snowball, you have been violating wikipedia's civility policy numerous times. Your comments bleed into the ad hominem and do not reflect the respect that wikipedia editors must have for each other; not just to myself, but to a number of editors on the page. I do not want to have to initialize a request for comment on your behavior; I'd much prefer that everyone involved discuss the mertis of the article, and not each other, but you really need to review wiki policies, and even the one you constantly reference, WP:OWN, as you seem to be exhibiting symptoms of pot-kettle syndrome. Thank you. -- Avi 17:47, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

As I said, I'm willing to try to work with you, but does this sound familiar?

Snowball, I have tried to be reasonable and civil to you, but all I get in return are nasty and insulting comments. I will not have any more communications with you. Anything communicated to me by you will be ignored. Knowing you, you will ge the last salvo, so go ahead leave a really "nice" comment.--Yeshivish 19:53, 8 January 2007 (UTC) Talk:Yisroel Dovid Weiss/Archive 1

very familiar, i think he ended up rving every edit i made without any comment, it wasn't very helpful. also this is begining to look a little bit personal. stick to discussing the issues raised on the talk page. i will propose mediation at the end of the next week if no progress has been made.  ⇒ bsnowball  19:08, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Hi Bsnowball, As an Australian editor can you please take a look on it Ian King? It needs some editing. It would be better if you help to improve the article. Hope to hear you soon. Best regards--NAHID 13:01, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The borges quote on your user page

Hahahahahha... fantastic, man, simply hilarious. Where did you get it? I'd like to use it on my user page, too. You see, I am making this roaster of Wikidemons, and this would come handy. Aditya Kabir 15:48, 14 March 2007 (UTC) - please, answer to my talk page

LOL. Yeah right, you could put a cite for that quote. It's fun. I used some on one of my subpages (the bio one). But seriously, I thought it was from the The Book of Imaginary Beings. I can't read Español, but Borges, even in English translation, remains one of my favorite writers. A real guru. Right? I even tried learning the language (and, failed too) at some point. Long live the man. Aditya Kabir 18:55, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ahmed Abd Rapo

Hi Bsnowball

I have added more referneces to Ahmed Abd Rapo page which was listed in speedy deletion pages for notability reasons. I put a link for Ahmed Abd Rapo's meeting with Al-Jazeera channel, which is a reliable source.

I hope wikipedia don't delete my page and remove the afd.

Please answer in my talkpage

[edit] Memorial Oval, Aquinas College

This ground is often regarded as "second to the WACA Ground" in Perth cricketing circles. It hosts many Firs-Class Womens cricket games, when the WACA is unavailable for womens cricket. As well as hosting Public Schools Association cricket games. Im unsure as to how the article isnt notable? Enlighten me on my talk page... Twenty Years 11:16, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Added the reference for the WACA Publication "The Western Cricketer 2003-04" and removed tag, is that ok? Twenty Years 11:30, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Yep, got the ref for second ground, thanks very much for getting me into gear about the article. Twenty Years 11:42, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] PAIN

Hi, although I agree that the club may not be notable and should be removed, just blanking the page and redirecting to the university does not help. Neither should the information be added to the university page. Instead we need to put it up for deletion because it is not notable or decide to keep it. See the WP:ADF. I have reverted your change that blanked the article. Thanks Rimmeraj 23:29, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Goodna Shopping Centre

I have removed the speedy delete tag you placed on this article, as the given reason is not a valid speedy deletion criteria. If you still think the article should be deleted, I would suggest the WP:PROD or WP:AFD process. Thanks. Natalie 16:49, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ALS Gold Medal

Has anyone other than the society discussed this award - which looks impressive enough! Should I be looking through anything readily available to add secondary sources to this? Garrie 05:24, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
