Bryndzové halušky ( in english: Noodles with a special kind of sheep cheese) is a traditional food in Slovakia. It is considered the slovak national dish. The basic meal consists of Halušky (the noodles) and Bryndza (type of sheep cheese), it may be covered by fried bits of bacon.

The recepies may vary - one of the main ingredients are the potatoes which are added to the dough. When the halušky are cooked the bryndza is added.
