Bryce Harrington
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bryce Harrington is a computer programmer currently employed at Open Source Development Labs, where he works on automated testing of the Linux kernel, NFS, and Cairo. At OSDL he also develops the Crucible test harness. However, he is better known in the open-source community for several programming and writing projects that he has done on his own time. He is a leading personality involved in the development of open-source vector graphics drawing program Inkscape and has been instrumental in moderating arguments and encouraging good planning. He also played an important part in the creating of the spin-off project Open Clip Art Library. He is also the author of Circe, a free-information fantasy roleplaying game, and was at one time a leader of the Worldforge project, which has created an online roleplaying game. He has a master's degree in Aeronautical engineering from Cal Tech.
Bryce was an early contributor to Wikipedia. He joined within Wikipedia's first two weeks [1], having participated in the Gnupedia project previously.
