Bryan Thomas (born June 7, 1979 in Birmingham, Alabama) is a linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League. The 6'4" lineman was selected out of the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the 2002 NFL Draft. Thomas had a monster combine performance that elevated him into the first round, he recorded 4.47 40 yard dash, 34 1/2 vertical and 33 reps of 225 at 6-4 266 pounds. He played his entire career as a defensive end until being converted to a linebacker for the Jets during the 2006 NFL season.
