Bryan R. Holloway

Bryan R. Holloway is currently serving his second two-year term as a representative from the 91st District (Stokes, Rockingham Counties) in the North Carolina General Assembly. Rep. Holloway served as the Republican Freshman Leader in the House of Representatives, a post he was elected to in the 2005-2006 session.

Before going into politics, Holloway was a social studies teacher at West Stokes High School. In the 2004 Election, he ran for the state house in the Republican primaries against incumbent Rex Baker. He sucessully won for the Republican ticket, later to run against Democratic candidate Robert W. Mitchell, also a social studies teacher at the same school. Holloway won the election easily and became a North Carolina State House Representative.

Representative Holloway is awaiting committee assignments as the North Carolina General Assembly has only recently reconvened for the 2007 "Long Session". Mr Holloway is well respected throughout his community and is a member of First Baptist Church in King, NC. Bryan resides in King, NC with his wife Misti and their dog Governor.
