I am a historian raised in Easley, South Carolina; educated at Clemson University and the University of North Carolina; and now working at Royal Holloway, University of London, in Egham, Surrey, England. I am interested in the history of the U.S. South, especially South Carolina and topics such as lynching, labor unions, and folklore.
I have not done much on here yet, except write articles on two South Carolina governors, Coleman Livingston Blease and Richard Irvine Manning III. I will probably get around to working on some of the South Carolina topics relating to Reconstruction soon.
