Brushy, Oklahoma

- Brushy is also the name of a Census Designated Place in Oklahoma.
Brushy is a small rural community located in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, in the foothills of the Brushy Mountains on US Highway 59. The Brushy Post Office existed from May 11, 1900, until December 31, 1910.
Students at Brushy's elementary school go only through the eighth grade. Graduating students are dependent on the Sallisaw school district for their high school education.
