Brushford, Somerset

Brushford is a village and civil parish in the West Somerset district of Somerset, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 535. The village is about 12 miles north of Tiverton and is on the edge of the Exmoor National Park.
It consists of a local garage, some housing areas, a village hall and a church. It was also home to a train station which was connected to the Taunton and Barnstable line, but was decommisioned many years ago. Recently, the building near the train station have been re-developed into flats for living purposes.
