Bruno Alexandre Vilela Gama or commonly known as Bruno Gama is a Portuguese footballer.
Bruno Gama was born in the Vila Verde on November 15, 1987. He currently plays foward/deep-lying striker for Sporting Clube de Braga and is the team captain of the Portuguese under-21 team. He has also played for FC Porto but for his youthness he was loaned to UEFA Cup hopefuls Sporting Braga.
The 18-year-old midfielder helped Portugal win the 2003 UEFA European Under-17 Championship on home soil, and a year later moved to UEFA Champions League holders Porto in a €750,000 deal. But he never stepped up from the B team to the senior squad and following his appearance in this summer's European U19 Championship he now joins Braga, a team currently in a prominent position in both Superliga and the UEFA Cup.
