Brum Beat is the name of a magazine about the music within Birmingham, United Kingdom. It started as Midlands Beat, by Jim Simpson, who sold it to its latter editor, Steve Morris, who in turn converted it into a website.

It was also a name coined in the late 60's for the many Birmingham beat bands of that time, more recently a myspace page has evolved in the same spirit as the original publication listing new bands, gig dates and events as well as featuring new up and coming Birmingham music.
